Intelix InfoComm 2008 New Product Releases

Introducing Intelix's DIGI-VGASD family of twisted pair products. Intelix DIGI-VGASD products distribute VGA video, stereo audio, and control signals over a single twisted pair cable, such as Cat 5 or Cat 6. All DIGI-VGASD models--including wallplate baluns, rack-mount baluns, and distribution amplifiers--are fully compatible, allowing you to design the perfect Intelix solution for your application.

Each DIGI-VGASD product features 1600x1200 VGA video performance, high-fidelity 20Hz to 20kHz audio performance, and IR or bi-directional RS232 extension up to 350 feet over a single twisted pair cable. DIGI-VGASD send baluns feature local monitor support and DIGI-VGASD receive baluns feature dual outputs and built-in video equalization ensuring skew-free video performance.

In addition, Intelix also announced the release of the DIGI-DVI-F, their long awaited fourth-generation DVI over twisted pair extender. The DIGI-DVI-F extends DVI-D signals up to 150 feet two standard twisted pair cables, such as Cat 5 and Cat 6, and is extremely affordably priced at $249.95 retail per set.

DIGI-DVI-F. The Intelix DIGI-DVI-F active balun set transmits high-definition DVI-D signals up to 150 feet over two standard twisted pair cables. The DIGI-DVI-F is rack-mountable when used in conjunction with Intelix's DIN-RACK-KIT mounting system.

DIGI-VGASD. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD active balun set transmits VGA video, stereo audio, and IR/RS232 up to 350 feet over a single twisted pair cable. The balun set includes one modular send balun, one modular receive balun, and two power supplies. The send balun features local monitor outputs. The receive balun features dual amplified outputs and adjustable video equalization.

DIGI-VGASD-T4R. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD-T4R distribution system distributes a single VGA video and stereo audio source to four

remote destinations over inexpensive twisted pair cable. In addition, the system extends RS232 or IR control signals over the same cable. The DIGI-VGASD-T4R includes one 1x4 distribution amplifier send balun, one modular receive balun, and two power supplies. The system is linkable for additional remote destinations.

DIGI-VGASD-T8R. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD-T8R distribution system distributes a single VGA video and stereo audio source to eight remote destinations over inexpensive twisted pair cable. In addition, the system extends RS232 or IR control signals over the same cable. The DIGI-VGASD-T8R includes one 1x8 distribution amplifier send balun, one modular receive balun, and two power supplies. The system is linkable for additional remote destinations.

DIGI-VGASD-WP. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD-WP active balun set transmits VGA video, stereo audio, and IR/RS232 up to 350 feet over a single twisted pair cable. The balun set includes one double-gang wallplate send balun, one double-gang wallplate receive balun, and two power supplies. The send balun features local monitor outputs. The receive balun features dual amplified outputs and adjustable video equalization. Both units feature white faceplates.

DIGI-VGASD-R. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD-R active receive balun receives VGA video, stereo audio, and IR/RS232 from an Intelix DIGI-VGASD modular or wallplate send balun or a DIGI-VGASD distribution amplifier. The DIGI-VGASD-R receive balun features dual amplified outputs, adjustable video equalization, and ships with a power supply.

DIGI-VGASD-S. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD-S active send balun transmits VGA video, stereo audio, and IR/RS232 to a remote Intelix DIGI-VGASD modular or wallplate receive balun. The DIGI-VGASD-S send balun features local monitor outputs and ships with a power supply.

DIGI-VGASD-T4. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD-T4 distribution amplifier splits a single analog VGA video and stereo audio signal to four RJ45 twisted pair outputs. The DIGI-VGASD-T4 features a local monitor output and is linkable.

DIGI-VGASD-T8. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD-T8 distribution amplifier splits a single analog VGA video and stereo audio signal to eight RJ45 twisted pair outputs. The DIGI-VGASD-T8 features a local monitor output, is rack-mountable in a standard 19" rack, and is linkable.

DIGI-VGASD-WP-R. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD-WP-R active receive wallplate balun receives VGA video, stereo audio, and IR/RS232 from an Intelix DIGI-VGASD modular or wallplate send balun or a DIGI-VGASD distribution amplifier. The DIGI-VGASD-WP-R receive balun features dual amplified outputs, adjustable video equalization, fits in a double-gang wallbox, and ships with a power supply.

DIGI-VGASD-WP-S. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD-WP-S active wallplate send balun transmits VGA video, stereo audio, and IR/RS232 to a remote Intelix DIGI-VGASD modular or wallplate receive balun. The DIGI-VGASD-WP-S send balun features local monitor outputs, fits in a double-gang wallbox, and ships with a power supply.

DIGI-VGASD-IREMT. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD-IREMT is an IR emitter designed for use with the Intelix DIGI-VGASD distribution system.

DIGI-VGASD-IREYE. The Intelix DIGI-VGASD-IREYE is an IR eye designed for use with the Intelix DIGI-VGASD distribution system.

Intelix is finalizing their research, development, and design for the next DIGI-VGASD family release--the DIGI-VGASD-16X16. The DIGI-VGASD-16X16 is a 16 input by 16 output matrix switcher with analog inputs and twisted pair outputs.
