INTELIX INTRODUCES THE
AVOCAT SERIES OF BALUNS
Middleton, WI- Intelix LLC, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video
equipment and software, recently announced the release of
an entirely new series of audio-visual
baluns, the AvoCat Series. The AvoCat Series features
redesigned and enhanced models of Intelix's most popular balun
products, including solutions for sending stereo audio, s-video,
composite video, Y/C video, and RGB video over inexpensive
structured cabling, such as Cat 5.

AvoCat baluns feature 20 Hz to 20 kHz audio bandwidth and
a standardized casing design which mounts to the Intelix DIN-RACK-KIT,
a modular 19" rack system. Each 3U DIN-RACK-KIT supports
up to 52 Intelix AvoCat baluns. And because the system is
completely modular, should the application change in the future,
the AvoCat system allows you to simply swap out individual
baluns without replacing a whole chassis.
"We designed the AvoCat Series to be a completely modular
system for our professional audio/video customers," explained

audio-visual installation presents a custom application which
requires a custom solution. The AvoCat Series allows you to
inexpensively mix-and-match audio and video formats in a single
rack mountable chassis."
All AvoCat baluns are fully compatible with Intelix's existing
line of audio/video over Cat 5 baluns. 
Immediately released models include: AVO-A2, AVO-A4, AVO-SVA2,
AVO-V1, AVO-V1-ST, AVO-V1A2, AVO-V2A2, and AVO-V3.
